You will not be permitted to participate in any event organised by Players of War Airsoft until you have read and understood the following statement and provided a signature confirming this.

By signing this disclaimer, you agree to the following terms and conditions as stated by Players of War Airsoft (also herein referred to as “P.O.W.”):

1.       I have been given, and fully understand the safety briefing given by P.O.W. staff.

2.       I agree to follow the rules and regulations as outlined by P.O.W. staff in the safety briefing.

3.       I understand that:

a.       The game is physically and mentally intense and may require extreme exertion to play.

b.       The game can be dangerous if not played in accordance with the stated rules and regulations.

c.        The possibility of injury to myself and others exists.

d.       Any equipment I bring to a P.O.W. game site may be tested for safety by a member of staff.

                                                   i.      In the case of safety equipment, I acknowledge that my property may be tested to destruction and I will not seek payment or compensation for any protective clothing or eyewear that fails a safety check.

                                                  ii.      In the case of airsoft equipment, I acknowledge that if any item fails a chronograph test, I will not be able to use it until it has been appropriately modified/downgraded.  I understand that no refund of green fees will be given should this occur, but I will have the option of hiring a gun should one be available.

                                                iii.      In the case of pyrotechnic equipment, I acknowledge that any item not manufactured by a recognised company must be tested before use in-game and that under no circumstances will any pyrotechnic device, not professionally manufactured and intended for airsoft/paintball use, be allowed on site.  I will follow all safety instructions as printed on any and all pyrotechnic devices that I use and will not use or transport them in an inappropriate manner.

4.       I confirm that:

a.       I am fully aware of the risk to myself and others involved in playing any airsoft game and that I will never, under any circumstances, deliberately break any rules.

b.       I am physically fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved in the game.

c.        I will comply with the P.O.W. rules and use of equipment as instructed so as not to injure or harm others and will obey all the directions given by the P.O.W. marshals.

d.       I will wear face/eye protection at all times when in a game zone and will not remove it until the marshals have signalled the end of the game.

e.       I am 18 years of age or older.

f.         I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to P.O.W. site officials upon registration.

5.       I fully understand the above terms which have been outlined to me and I agree to follow all rules and regulations as stated by Players of War Airsoft.

6.       I acknowledge that in some cases, printed and digital material may be rendered obsolete and updated verbally on site (editing of printed and digital material will take place no later than 7 days from the verbal notification).  I will listen to all verbal briefings to ensure that I do not miss any such changes and if I am unsure as to the rules of any given game, I will alert a marshal and request clarification as soon as possible.

Release:  I hereby waive and forever discharge from any claims and liabilities, loss or damage which I might sustain whatsoever without limitation that I might have against Players of War Airsoft, any on-site marshals and/or  the owners/leasers of the property on which the game is being played, as well as any other player who might injure me howsoever arising, irrespective of whether such loss, injury or damage can be attributed to any act or omission by Players of War Airsoft.
